Shmuel Cohen
Shmuel’s philosophy is that business is built on trust – an important perspective based on his upbringing and career in Israel. This focus on trust is what’s helped GSH build a wonderful network of investors and grow a team of hardworking leaders. In practice, Shmuel’s philosophy of trust looks like transparency, real human connection, and starting every new business relationship, deal, or hiring opportunity from a foundation of understanding. Shmuel frequently gets coffee or lunch with our investors and always picks up the phone to answer questions or share updates. It’s that kind of personal connection that builds trust and strengthens what we do as a firm.
Hannan Lis
Hannan brings a unique service philosophy to our business that helps guide the way we interact with our community members, our team, and our investors. This service philosophy keeps us focused on providing comfortable, affordable housing, and connecting our community members with quality lifestyle opportunities. This same service-oriented approach is baked into our hiring and employee development, helping us to create a culture of empowerment and mentorship amongst our team. Hannan’s belief in the value of service has made us more than a traditional real estate investment firm. It’s helped strengthen our business model, our brand, our relationships with our investors, and the unique way in which we develop thriving communities.
Gideon Pfeffer
As Managing Partner, Gideon’s guiding principle is balance. From overseeing daily operations to evaluating financing opportunities and approving acquisitions, there are hundreds of moving parts that must stay in balance in order to grow GSH in a meaningful way. This philosophy of balance ensures that we place equal focus on everything from investor relations and revenue to team-building and community development, and we constantly recalibrate if any element seems out of balance. On a day-to-day basis, Gideon’s perspective helps us empower our team, collaborate with excellent partners, and maintain open communication so that every aspect of our business is working in tandem towards our mission.
